Foreign Professionals Program U.S. Market

New to the United States and working on a professional visa? We can help you with a new Nissan (finance or lease) or a used vehicle (finance)—even if you have limited or no U.S. credit history. All offers are subject to credit approval and program rules.

Who Qualifies?

  • Professionals employed in the U.S. on eligible work visas (commonly H-1B “Specialty Occupation” or L-1 intracompany transfer). Other employment visas may qualify.
  • Limited or no U.S. credit history is OK; applicants should have no derogatory credit on record.
  • Verifiable annual income meeting program guidelines (typically at least $75,000 per year) and proof of U.S. residence/phone number.
  • Financing terms may be aligned to your visa/I-94 length of stay; standard credit approval applies.

Eligibility and terms vary by applicant and are subject to change.

What to Bring (Documents)

  • Passport and U.S. work visa (with photo redacted on copies), plus most recent I-94 showing length of stay.
  • Valid Social Security Number (card or SSA letter).
  • Letter of employment that includes the applicant’s job title, start date, and anticipated length of employment in the U.S., and a Human Resources contact (name & HR contact number / direct phone).
  • Recent pay stubs or offer letter confirming compensation.
  • Proof of U.S. residence (lease or utility bill) and an active U.S. phone number.
  • Two verifiable U.S. references (personal or professional).
  • Driver license & insurance to take delivery (state requirements apply).

Bring originals or official digital copies. If unsure, bring the document—we’ll review together.

Small Print

Programs and eligibility are subject to change without notice and to credit approval by the lender. Proof of identity/lawful presence, employment, and residency are required. Financing terms may be limited by visa/I-94 validity. Not all applicants will qualify. See dealer for details.
